Trimlight is the Nation’s first and foremost provider and installer of permanent, programmable LED lighting systems for homes and businesses. Their innovative solutions are designed to deliver year-round exterior lighting that enhances curb appeal, improves security, and allows you to celebrate holidays, events, and everyday moments with customizable colors and effects—all from a simple, app-controlled system. West Kentucky Trimlight is owned and operated by Charles Holt, a local Almo, KY resident.
Trimlight can be installed on any structure, both residential and commercial, including patios and outdoor living spaces, movie theaters, parks, churches, restaurants, banks, etc. It can be used to enhance landscape, increase security, accent your space, and celebrate special occasions. For businesses, it's a great way to increase visibility and foot traffic.
Trimlight can be customized for security lighting, illuminating entryways, driveways, patios, and other vulnerable areas. Bright, long-lasting LEDs deter unwanted activity while maintaining a sleek, professional appearance for homes and businesses.
Trimlight’s patented channel system is designed to match the color of the roofline, blending in seamlessly to hide the wires from view. They lock the lights securely in place and they are hardly noticeable during the day.
No other company in the permanent holiday lighting industry provides what Trimlight offers. With other brands, you frequently encounter similar designs, typically featuring a puck-shaped or rectangle bulb option.
Trimlight bulbs protrude a 3/8" below the channel, providing a timeless holiday glow that radiates vividly from more angles at night, outshining the puck-shaped or rectangle-shaped bulbs.
Puck-shaped and rectangle-shaped lights often have difficulty providing a consistent visual effect when approaching or passing by a home. Their design limits light output, causing them to blend into the background, especially in low-light settings, and frequently giving the impression that some lights are absent.
Trimlight comes with a Lifetime Product Warranty. The lifespan of Trimlight is influenced by its usage frequency. When used solely during the holiday season, it can last as long as 30-40 years.
On average, Trimlight will last between 20-30 years (assuming it is only used during nighttime hours).
You may need HOA approval to install Trimlight. We encourage you to check your HOA guidelines or reach out to an HOA representative. We’ve found that most homeowners are successful in receiving HOA approval for Trimlight.
The cost depends on the size of your home or business or the size of the outdoor area where you would like Trimlight installed. Contact us today to get your custom quote.
Every Trimlight product must be installed by our professional lighting technicians.
Since our Trimlight technicians need access to areas inside your home, you do need to be present for the installation. Depending on the scale of the project, installation may take 1-3 days. We only need access on the first day to set up the controller box.
Trimlight’s LED lighting technology is 10x more efficient than incandescent lighting. Each diode uses .6 watts of power. A 200' house would then use 120-400 watts. That means you would have to run your Trimlight system for nearly 3-8 hours before you're billed $0.06 - $0.20! In comparison, incandescent Christmas lights use anywhere from 1000-1400 watts for the same amount of lights!
The Trimlight system can be paired to some home networks, but there are a lot of variables outside our control including the type of router/modem, firewall settings, and other obstacles. We cannot guarantee Trimlight will connect to your network.

Trimlight is a permanent fixture and cannot be removed and used again after installation. If you decide to sell your home, your Trimlight is a great feature to show interested buyers!
Absolutely, the Trimlight app is designed to work with any iPhone or Android device. The app will also work with most Mac computer systems since they are app-driven. It will not work with PCs
Typically the Trimlight control box is mounted on an interior wall inside a garage or under a carport. The Trimlight system simply plugs into a regular outlet.
Typically, LED diodes with lenses can become faded or damaged due to constant sun exposure over time. However, Trimlight’s residential lighting has no lens or covering, just the direct LED shows out of the channel, which means Trimlight LEDs will not fade, get cloudy or become discolored over time like many other exterior LEDs. Furthermore, Trimlight residential LEDs face down and below the channel which further protects them from constant sun exposure.
No, the Trimlight controller has a built in battery so all saved programs and timers will not be lost if the controller loses power. That being said, we always recommend keeping the Trimlight controller plugged in at all times unless performing a soft reset or hard reset.
Certainly, you have the ability to manage and operate your down lights separately and independently when using the Trimlight system.
